Exchanges & Returns
Would you like to exchange your item for a different size, colour, or style?
Unfortunately, we do not yet offer an exchange service outside of the Netherlands. If you would like to receive another colour or size, we recommend returning the initial order. In the meantime, you can place a new order.
If you’d like to return your ordered items, you can do so within 14 days* after delivery. Returns are processed within five business days. When your return is processed you will receive an e-mail confirming your refund.
Please note: we only take items in return that are unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and in original condition with attached label(s). In case of a return, please complete the return form and add it to the package.
Packages with enclosed returnlabel please follow these return instructions:
- Add the completed return form to the package.
- Cover your own address details with the enclosed return label. Make sure the package is closed well.
- Bring the package to your local Post Office. You can find your specific carrier on the enclosed return label.
- Please ask for proof of postage and keep this safe in case we need to see this later.
- The return costs will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed afterward.
- The return costs are the same amount as the paid shipping costs. However, if you return the complete order, we will also refund the initial shipping costs you made (because EU legislation says so).
For packages without enclosed returnlabel, please follow these return instructions:
- Please contact our Customer Care-team, e-mail to cs@vanilia.com or call +31 (0) 75 640 25 00 from Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
- We will send you the return label by e-mail to return your items and another form that is necessary for customs.
- There are two ways to return items.
1. DHL Service Point:
- Add the completed return form to the package.
- Cover your own address details with the enclosed return label. Make sure the package is closed well.
- Leave your package at a DHL Service Point. Visit locator.dhl.com/ServicePointLocator/ for the nearest DHL Service Point.
- The return costs will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed afterward.
- The return costs are the same amount as the paid shipping costs. However, if you return the complete order, we will also refund the initial shipping costs you made (because EU legislation says so).
2. DHL Schedule a Pickup:
- Add the completed return form to the package.
- Cover your own address details with the enclosed return label. Make sure the package is closed well.
- Schedule your pick-up appointment at mydhl.express.dhl/nl/en/home.html#/schedulePickupTab
- The return costs will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed afterward.
- The return costs are the same amount as the paid shipping costs. However, if you return the complete order, we will also refund the initial shipping costs you made (because EU legislation says so).
If you want to return your package in the Netherlands, you can do this in the following ways:
1. For free at one of our Vanilia boutiques (not including Bijenkorf locations).
2. At a PostNL service point:
- Add the completed return form to the box.
- Cover your address details with the enclosed PostNL return sticker.
- Drop off your parcel at a PostNL location. Click here to see the nearest PostNL location. Make sure to check the opening hours of your PostNL location.
- You will immediately receive a shipping confirmation with a Track & Trace code.
- The shipping costs are €5.95, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
3. Give your parcel to a PostNL courier:
- Add the completed return form to the box.
- Cover your address details with the enclosed PostNL return sticker.
- Give your parcel to a PostNL courier during your next delivery.
- You will immediately receive a shipping confirmation with a Track & Trace code. Note: the courier will accept a maximum of five parcels per delivery.
- The shipping costs are €5.95, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Sale items can also be returned, provided they are in the same condition, with the labels and price tags still attached.
Vanilia reserves the right to refuse returns that are sent outside the stipulated period and items that are not returned in the same condition as they were sent. Multiple items and items from different orders can be returned in the same box. Note: all return forms must be included in the box. Without these forms, the return cannot be processed correctly.
As soon as we receive your return, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. The refunded amount will be credited back within 10 business days using the original payment method. Member vouchers and store credits will be reactivated and linked to the associated e-mail address. Please keep in mind that the process for refunding credit card payments differs per credit card company. As a result, it may take longer to process and refund your return compared with other payment methods.

If you have lost your return form, you can download a new form here. Unfortunately, it is not possible to download a new return label for PostNL.
Note: if you chose to pay via Klarna, all refunds will be processed by Klarna. Once we have processed your return, you can expect to receive your refund within 3 to 5 business days. As we charge €5.95 for returns, you will receive a separate invoice for this amount from Klarna. If you have any questions, please contact Klarna’s customer service department.
All items purchased at a Vanilia boutique can be exchanged or returned within 14 days* , with the exception of Vanilia Bijenkorf shops. The purchase amount will be refunded to your bank account or member card (credit cards not included) within 10 business days.

Vanilia items purchased at a Bijenkorf location or from www.debijenkorf.nl can only be exchanged or returned at a Bijenkorf shop or on De Bijenkorf website. Consult the Bijenkorf website for terms and conditions. This also applies to the Vanilia items purchased on breuninger.com. These can only be exchanged and returned via breuninger.com. Consult the Breuninger website for terms and conditions.

If your parcel was returned to our distribution centre, we will contact you by phone to verify your address and resend your order.
Please contact us by phone or by e-mail and we will send you a new PostNL label.
Yes, please! Make sure you include the return forms for all items you would like to return.
If you use the enclosed return label and send your parcel from the Netherlands, the return costs are €5.95. You can drop off your parcel at a PostNL service point. We will deduct the return costs from your refund. You can also return items for free at any of our Vanilia boutiques.
Yes, you can send your items to the following address: Vanilia, Zaandijkerweg 5, 1521 AX Wormerveer. Make sure to include your receipt in the box, as well as your address and bank account details so we can process your return and refund the purchase price.
As soon as we receive your return, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. The refunded amount will be transferred to your bank account within 5 to 7 business days. Member vouchers and store credits will be reactivated and linked to the associated e-mail address.
Please note: When the order has been paid with Paypal, you will receive the purchase amount on your account after approximately 14 days.
Register your return in the Klarna app to temporarily pause your payment. As soon as we have processed your return, Klarna will transfer the amount to your bank account.
Absolutely. As soon as we have processed your return, Klarna will refund the purchase price.
Orders can be cancelled without reason, within 14 days of receipt. To cancel an order, contact our customer service department as soon as possible. If the package has not yet left our warehouse, we will immediately start the cancellation procedure. If the package has left our warehouse, you can cancel your order within 14 days and return it to us using the enclosed return form. The full order amount, including shipping costs, will be refunded. You will only be charged €5.95 per package for returning the order to our warehouse. Please use the enclosed address label. These costs will be deducted from the total refund amount upon receipt. You can also return your order to one of our boutiques for free within 14 days.
To apply your cancellation rights, items must be returned with all accessories and (if possible) in the original condition and packaging.
Exception: Tights and underwear can be returned within 14 days without reason, provided the seal has not been broken or damaged in any way. If the seal has been broken, the items can no longer be returned and you waive your cancellation rights. All sales are considered final after payment.
Items from the same order may
