The building housing our Groningen boutique was built in 1929 as a private home and shop. The seventeenth-century clock plaque on the facade is a reminder of the bell that was rung five centuries ago on Vismarkt square to indicate that fresh fish had been brought in from Zoutkamp.

The tiny Tingtangstraatje next to the boutique was named after the sound of the bell
